Another great summer day — it started off warm and more humid than the last few days.  The high was 90 in the early afternoon before the clouds arrived.  We also had a few rumbles of thunder and maybe some distant lightening later in the afternoon but no rain.

It was a typical morning.  Activities available included archery, the climbing wall, soccer, handicrafts, nature, sailing, wood shop, and tennis with swims as usual.   The Eagles returned home in time to unpack and take showers before lunch reporting the trip was “awesome”.

The laundry arrived at the end of lunch so everyone could take their clean laundry back to their cabins on the way to Quiet Hour.  We sent out a total of 187 bags of laundry totaling over 2100 pounds all of which was returned clean and folded within 24 hours!!

This afternoon, an 11 & under baseball team went to a neighboring camp for a game (they snuck out without a picture!) and a large group hiked Rattlesnake Mountain which is just 15 minutes away and provides an awesome view of Panther Pond and Sebago Lake.  Here at camp, there was a 15 & under tennis practice for an upcoming tournament, a double  period of sailing for racing practice for an upcoming regatta, archery, basketball, handicrafts, kayaking, paddle boarding, wood shop and waterskiing.  In addition,  a group watched the Belgium vs. France World Cup game during free time.

It was a free evening tonight with a Twilight League Game, soccer, touch football, whiffle ball, tennis, basketball, etc. with a dip just before heading to bed.
